El Blauet (Double standard)

Double or triple

The “Blauet” (kingfisher) room owes its name to the presence near the country house of many of these birds, which we can contemplate when they fly and rest in the trees.

The kingfisher is a bird in danger of extinction due to the pollution of our waters. It is a native bird, very present in our territory and our culture but difficult to see, since it likes to hide in the vegetation.

The room has a nice private entrance with views of the Rocacorba mountains, the garden and the pool.

Inside we find a large room with a reading armchair, a closet, a bench and an extra-large double bed complete with 100 % cotton sheets.
Divided by a solid wood partition we find a very spacious private bathroom equipped with organic and vegan cosmetics by Naturals, a hair dryer and 100 % cotton towels.

The room is located on the ground floor of the countryside house with access to the beautiful interior hall. Facing east, the first pleasant rays of morning sun shine through the window.

The walls are made of clay, wood and earth; the ceiling, with Catalan vaults of ceramic; the floors, of "La Bisbal" tiles; and the paints, of natural lime.

The noble materials such as clay, solid wood, ceramic or stone give it peace and tranquillity, while colours such as white, brown and cream give it warmth. Finally, the technology of fixtures, insulation and heating allow you to enjoy the comfort of the 21st century.

The rooms

Twelve rooms designed for comfort, rest and connection to the natural world.
The “Auró Blanc” (field maple) is the first tree you see on your way out the door. It has a beautiful foliage that produces a pleasant shade in summer.
The “Els Bens” (the sheep) room is located where Can Buch's family once kept their cattle.
The “Avellaner” (hazel), a tree that is widely cultivated in the fields of our region, gives its name to this room.
We have named this room “La Ginesta” (the Spanish broom) because when you walk out of the door you see a field full of these plants.
The “Blauet” (kingfisher) room owes its name to the presence near the country house of many of these birds.
The “Mallerenga” (great tit) is named after one of the most common birds in our garden and area.
This room is called “L’Alzina” (the holm oak) because there is a beautiful window on the north side overlooking our holm oak forest.
The "Castanyer" (chestnut) is named after one of the most present trees in our territory.
